Capable de r\u00e9sister \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es et \u00e0 une faible disponibilit\u00e9 en eau, le genre Aspergillus et ses \u00e9tats sexuels sont l&rsquo;un des agents de d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration les plus r\u00e9pandus dans le monde. Aspergillus spp. se reproduisent principalement de mani\u00e8re asexu\u00e9e et peuvent \u00eatre isol\u00e9s de la plupart des aliments et des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res. Ils partagent leur habitat et concurrencent ainsi des esp\u00e8ces de genres tels que Penicillium et Fusarium. Les champignons de l&rsquo;Aspergillus sont utilis\u00e9s pour synth\u00e9tiser divers compos\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;industrie biotechnologique, alimentaire et m\u00e9dicale et peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des infections v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, animales et humaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bustmold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/aspergillus-1.jpg\" alt=\"aspergillus\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c0 quoi ressemble Aspergillus?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Aspergillus spp. les colonies sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 croissance rapide, blanches, jaunes, brunes ou vertes. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, la surface de la colonie est constitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;une couche dense de conidiophores dress\u00e9s (structures porteuses de spores) (Fig. 1). Les conidiophores ne sont pas cloisonn\u00e9s et sont form\u00e9s \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un court hyphe appel\u00e9 pied. \u00c0 l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 des conidiophores se trouve une seule v\u00e9sicule qui est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement grossi\u00e8rement sph\u00e9rique, l\u00e9g\u00e8rement allong\u00e9e ou moins visiblement enfl\u00e9e chez certaines esp\u00e8ces (Fig. 1). Selon les esp\u00e8ces, la v\u00e9sicule peut \u00eatre recouverte d&rsquo;une seule couche de phialides ou avoir une couche suppl\u00e9mentaire de cellules appel\u00e9es m\u00e9tules. Ces cellules portent des verticilles de phialides, sur lesquelles se forment les conidies (spores asexu\u00e9es) (1,2).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_27490\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bustmold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/left-Aspergillus-spp.-colonies-right-Aspergillus-niger-conidiophore.png\" alt=\"(left) Aspergillus spp. colonies (right) Aspergillus niger conidiophore\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 1. Si l&rsquo;esp\u00e8ce Aspergillus a une structure bis\u00e9ri\u00e9e, les m\u00e9tules et les phialides se formeront simultan\u00e9ment. La formation simultan\u00e9e de m\u00e9tules et de phialides est caract\u00e9ristique du genre Aspergillus, par exemple Penicillium spp. forment ces structures individuellement. Les v\u00e9sicules, les phialides, les m\u00e9tules et les conidies constituent la t\u00eate conidienne. Selon les esp\u00e8ces, les conidies sont unicellulaires, \u00e0 parois lisses ou rugueuses, hyalines ou pigment\u00e9es. Ils sont produits en longues cha\u00eenes s\u00e8ches qui peuvent s&rsquo;\u00e9carter les unes des autres ou s&rsquo;amasser en colonnes compactes. Certaines esp\u00e8ces peuvent produire des cellules de H\u00fclle ou des scl\u00e9rotes, des structures qui aident le champignon \u00e0 se reproduire et \u00e0 survivre dans des conditions difficiles (1\u20133).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O\u00f9 trouver Aspergillus ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aspergilli, un nom commun utilis\u00e9 pour les membres de ce genre, sont des membres fongiques cosmopolites et souvent r\u00e9pandus de diff\u00e9rents \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes dans un large \u00e9ventail de zones environnementales et climatiques. Parce qu&rsquo;ils peuvent coloniser de nombreux types de substrats diff\u00e9rents, les aspergilli peuvent \u00eatre trouv\u00e9s dans tous les biomes de la plan\u00e8te, tels que le sol, tous les types d&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes agricoles, les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes aquatiques, les humains, les animaux et d&rsquo;autres biotes vivants. Cependant, les aspergilli peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre trouv\u00e9s dans des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes inhospitaliers tels que les marais salants et l&rsquo;Antarctique (4\u20136). Des esp\u00e8ces telles que A. fumigatus et A. terreus peuvent \u00eatre pathog\u00e8nes pour les plantes, les animaux et les humains, en raison de leur mode de vie et de la production de mycotoxines. En revanche, de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces (par exemple, A. aculeatus, A. oryzae, A. niger, etc.) ont des applications dans les industries chimiques, alimentaires et agricoles pour la fabrication de produits alimentaires ferment\u00e9s, d&rsquo;acides organiques et d&rsquo;une large gamme d&rsquo;enzymes.
